After engaging in terrorism in Iraq, an Al Qaeda leader came to America as a refugee and applied for Social Security disability benefits because his “injuries” in Iraq had made it too hard for him to work.

In 2006, Ali Yousif Ahmed Al-Nouri was the Emir of an Al Qaeda terrorist group in Fallujah. The Iraqi city was the scene of brutal battles between Al Qaeda and America. It was where American soldiers had suffered the most casualties in any battle since the Vietnam War. Despite multiple defeats, Al Qaeda remained deeply entrenched in the city and was even able to seize a number of neighborhoods in 2014.

US Senate Panel Finds No Evidence of Alleged Russian Interference in 2016 Vote - Report

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - In April, the final report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into allegations of Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 election said it did not find evidence to determine a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The Senate Intelligence Committee said in a report released on Thursday that again it saw no evidence of alleged Russian interference changing any votes or manipulating voting machines in the 2016 US presidential election.

"The Committee has seen no evidence that any votes were changed or that any voting machines were manipulated", the Intelligence Committee said in its report into allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

According to the report, the United States was not well prepared to defend against alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US election.

DHS Suspends New Yorkers From Its Trusted Travelers Programs In Wake Of Illegal Alien ID Law

The Department of Homeland Security is suspending New Yorkers from enrolling in Global Entry and other Trusted Traveler Programs in response to a new state law that bans information sharing with the federal government.

Acting Deputy DHS Secretary Ken Cuccinelli went into detail in a conference call Thursday with reporters on the department’s decision to no longer allow New York residents to enroll in Trusted Travel Programs, which allow expedited entry of pre-approved individuals, because of a new law that allows illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses and bans information sharing between DMVs and DHS agencies.

Trade war: China announces tariff cuts as part of phase one deal despite coronavirus outbreak

China will cut a 10 per cent tariff to 5 per cent, and a 5 per cent tariff to 2.5 per cent in efforts to implement the phase one deal signed with the United States

The products covered include automotive and agricultural goods including pork, chicken, beef and soybeans, chemicals, crude oil, whiskey, and seafood

China announced on Thursday that it will halve additional tariffs on US$75 billion of American products imposed late last year from next week, a sign that Beijing is implementing the phase one deal with United States despite the coronavirus outbreak.

Beijing will cut a 10 per cent punitive tariff to 5 per cent, and a 5 per cent tariff to 2.5 per cent on February 14, according to China’s Ministry of Finance.

China announced in August that it would impose tariffs

in two batches in September and in December, however, the second round due to come into effect on December 15, was not implemented.
