>the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

That is the problem with translations.

The same phrase in Greek cold also mean "…and the Word was Divine"

But all the other time were Jesus specifically says he is the Son of God should be good enough to put this "Jesus is God" nonsense to rest.

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." - john 17:3

Semantics for sure.

Jesus is only saying that if you want to know how God is (as a person) just look at him, because he spent so much time with his Father…a "Like father, Like Son" type of thing.

The "Jesus is God" is a very clever deception, aimed towards the promotion of the worship of other gods.

Jesus was very clear when he said: "…for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." - Luke 4:8
