Trump/Xi/Putin are working together to some degree with each trying to dissolve and kill off their own respective deep states within.
That's my hope and if true itvwould explain some or much of their relative silence and acquiescence while Trump goes full scorched earth on literally the entire planet.
In a future tri-polar world China eventually gets control of much of Asia while Russia cedes some land to China that us close to them while Russia gains more of Europe and the Middle East and North Africa.

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman is leaving his post at the National Security Council, Fox News confirmed Friday.
The timeline of Vindman’s departure is unclear. Vindman was apparently planning to leave his post at the end of the month, but his exit could come sooner.
The news comes after reports that the White House was weighing options to dismiss Vindman from the NSC in an effort to shrink its foreign policy bureaucracy. Bloomberg reported Thursday that the White House planned to frame Vindman’s exit as part of an NSC staff downsizing, not retaliation….cont.
