SEALS are not used for underwater welding jobs.
Not that u/w welding isn't important or valuable to national defense, but BUDS isn't an underwater welding school.
Only time you'll find a seal welding underwater is 1) if it's needed for a particular mission and 2) the SEAL know how to weld underwater.
