Read a long time ago somewhere that China has pretty much had state-mandated abortions for something like 30 years; tax penalties are too heavy for most couples to have more than one child. Everyone wants a son. So they get an amniocentesis test done and if it's a female fetus, they abort. Thus the catastrophic disproportionate male to female ratio. What would a communist government want to do with an excess of 70 million young men in their sexual prime? Maybe create a megavirus to cull the herd? Maybe create a super army out of the resilient ones? And what about all those aborted fetuses? What might they be used for?
