Updated Border Pictures-San Diego Otay Mesa Border Crossing looking south east-Tijuana on other side

Otay Mesa Border Truck crossing

first cap is from 4/21/19 to give an idea of what state it was at then. The changes can be seen as there are now two rows of the final wall. Farther to the east is still being worked on. Had a nice conversation with the border patrol agent stationed just under the truck overpass-very nice man. This is the other change since last visit-an agent is now stationed at the underpass area to provide additional patrol for when the illegals make the crossing attempts. I stopped and asked if I could take pictures and he allowed. Says the problems still occur when the fog comes in as the 'bodies'-his words-use the cover of fog to mass in this area to cross at one time. He indicated that they are having an easier time rounding them up as the choke points are becoming moar managebale for them to police. Made mention of telling the the upper mgmt to place some additional razor wire in between the two walls once completed as there are still some gaps to allow easier crossings. Got the feeling that they are much happier with the situation now as opposed to three years ago.

Updated Border Pictures-Tijuana-Dairy Mart Road-west of Otay truck Crossing

 

Looking south towards teh road out to the beach area in TJ.

 

All of the old fence is now down and being stored in a yard just north of actual wall. Here are a few current pictures and map of this area. Much tidier installations now and the area seems to be in a clean up phase as it should be completed soon.

the biggest change is that the area now has two mostly completed walls with the solid barriers mounted on the top. The border agent I spoke to said that the area that POTUS signed was taken out for safe-keeping. He also showed me pictures of the event as he was assigned to the detail during the ceremony-thank you sir for taking the time to speak with me-you are a PATRIOT of the highest caliber.
