Know what stood out to me about that NJ child porn arrest press release from the DOJ?
The two law enforcement agencies involved were ICE and Homeland Security.
From: https://searchcompliance.techtarget.com/definition/US-Department-of-Homeland-Security-DHS
(I located other sources for DHS' mission/scope, but this brief definition suited this site best)
According to the DHS mission statement, the agency has five core homeland security goals:
–Prevent terrorism and enhance security
–Secure and manage U.S. borders
–Enforce and administer U.S. immigration laws
–Safeguard and secure cyberspace
–Ensure resilience to disasters
Safeguard and secure cyberspace
One common denominator of much of the crime we've seen– against children, sex trafficking, weapons/drug trafficking, tax/financial fraud– is that it was done IN CYBERSPACE
So maybe DHS is going to be the lead agency making (eventually please God) arrests?
Remember how quickly after inauguration POTUS issued Executive Orders regarding Homeland Security?

"In January 2017, the president announced a series of Executive Orders that provide the Department with additional resources, tools and personnel to carry out the critical work of securing our borders, enforcing our immigration laws, and ensuring that individuals who pose a threat to national security or public safety cannot enter or remain in our country. Protecting the American people is the highest priority of our government and this Department.

Especially look at this. Their mission scope is strikingly large. If they want to go after a crime perpetrated via the internet, they're good to go.
