Asheville, N.C.-based Earth Fare who has a footprint of about 50 new stores in the Southeastern US, announced suddenly on Monday that it will close all of its stores and begin inventory liquidation immediately. WTF???

Reports surfaced late last month that both Lucky’s Market and Fairway Market had filed or were planning to file for bankruptcy. Then just days later, New York-based Fairway announced it had filed for Chapter 11 and planned to sell all of its 14 stores. And less than a week after that, Niwot, Colo.-based Lucky’s affirmed that it had filed for Chapter 11 and fielded bids for 11 stores from Aldi and Publix Super Markets. The next day, the chain announced that its founders submitted bids to buy seven stores. Overall, plans call for 32 of Lucky’s 39 stores to be closed.”

The Earth Fare that opened here in Florida a couple years ago was a God send. The grand opening had over 4000 new customers on the first day! The place was always busy with happy employees. It is the only place I would order fresh made pizzas from, made with all organic ingredients. The margarita with pesto and tomatoes was the bomb! When ever we had friends or family in town, we would order EarthFare Pizza and everyone would rave. They always had the greatest deals on grass fed beef and wild fish sourced from all over. WTF?

Considering the high popularity of Earth Fare with it’s rapid recent expansion together with all the other organic providers all going down all at the same time, this has to be some big agro/GMO/monSATANo corporate subterfuge
