>Aren't most anons in agreement it was designed as a bioweapon?

I can't speak for most anons. But I have found no reason to think that. The reasons presented all fall apart upon closer inspection. It could just as likely have been made in a lab as it could be the product of nature. However, a natural virus, that was collected for study, escaping a lab is quite plausible.

And it would be a very poor weapon. For a weapon you want something that is NOT contagious so you can hit a bunch of enemy troops with it and not worry about it spreading back to your own people. That is why anthrax is so ideal.
