Counting Years: Reference. If (You) don't count the years correctly, (You) will never get the Chronology correct.
Year = 365 Days, Leap 366 Days. Common scripting with BCE, Before Current Era (year 1 BCE to year 10,000 BCE, and so on , counting in a reverse method, smaller number is nearer in time) and CE, Current Era (year 1 CE to year 2020 CE, counting in a forward method, larger number is nearer in time). CE is not used most of the time, common notation is just the year number. Examples used in the following descriptions are CE, however they can also be used for BCE, just remember when using BCE - the larger the number the further back in time.
Georgian Calendar used.
Starts on 01-01-01CE and 01-01-01BCE, there is no year 0 (zero).
Decades = 10 year span. Note, ending year of each decade divided by 10 is the decade number.
1st decade, 01-01-01 to 12-31-10.
2nd decade, 01-01-11 to 12-31-20. Current Decade.
3rd decade, 01-01-21 to 12-31-30.
4th decade, 01-01-31 to 12-31-40.
5th decade, 01-01-41 to 12-31-50.
6th decade, 01-01-51 to 12-31-60.
7th decade, 01-01-61 to 12-31-70.
8th decade, 01-01-71 to 12-31-80.
9th decade, 01-01-81 to 12-31-90.
10th decade, 01-01-91 to 12-31-100.

Century = 100 year span, also a 10 decade span. Note, ending year of century divided by 100 is the century number.
1st century, 01-01-01 to 12-31-100.
2nd century, 01-01-101 to 12-31-200.
3rd century, 01-01-201 to 12-31-300.

3rd millennium, 01-01-3001 to 12-31-3000.

EXAMPLE: The palindrome date of 02-02-2020 can be read as:
The 2nd day of the 2nd month of the 2nd decade of the 21st century or The 2nd day of the 2nd month of the 2nd decade of the 2nd century of the 2nd millennia.
