So it's basically science fiction, like most of the crap that passes for science these days.
Did you know that recent studies showed that about 70% of "science" that we have all paid for through taxation cannot be duplicated by other scientists?
Do you know what that means?
It means that Science, as "practiced" today, is COMPLETE AND TOTAL BULLSHIT, much like everything else.
Sadly, the false science / peer review garbage is nothing new, and has been going on since the late 1970's, if not before.
Once the government started dolling out grants, science was over. Those in government, along with their corporate masters were able to move science in their direction.
To make matters worse, the patent office (no friend to inventors) has been used to identify and suppress technologies, many of which paid big money for the rights so they could shelf it, thus preventing us plebs from every having access.
