Reid was getting sweetheart deals for property in the area through shell companies. Gov was selling/granting land to shell companies. Chinese companies also involved, IIRC.
There were a lot of anons digging on that. Lots of focus also on the mining in the area. Bundy Ranch was the land you'd need to build a road up to the nearby plateau in order to plop a very profitable mine there. Reid had involvement with lots of parsels there.
