I didn't get that vibe at all. I'd never been to end before the 93 days of darkness. It and the qresearch forum were heaven sent as far as I was concerned. Most of the regulars eventually turned up. Baking went on as before, digging resumed, I thought it was comfy af.
Anon's there were actually more disciplined in some ways, archiving BFORE posting so things couldn't get memory holed.
And yes, "Anon got stronger" indeed.
