The 2nd amendment isn't about hunting, anon. It's about being able to resist our government if it becomes tyrannical. To do that, by rights, we ought to be able to have machine guns, bazookas and tanks. But a 200 million strong citizen army carrying semiautos is probably effective enough for the purpose.
And we have plenty of mountains and canyons and caves and rocks in the US.
Sorry, referenced the wrong post in the first response. One anon in 2nd A exchange pointed out that in late 1700s we had muskets, not semiautos - implying that is the level of tech the 2A refers to and we should all be limited to that level.
Knowing that there are so many armed citizens in the US is what has kept us from invasion from without. The only real fear is division from within. In the war between the states, over 500,000 people died in combat.
No, don't want to go down that road. It is the plan of the cabal. As long as the US remains intact, we are a huge impediment to their goals - so they have been trying to push us into fighting against each other (Antifa, BLM, etc.).
