You are right, but pharmacists get their pills delivered - ready made - from big pharma. and we all know how seriously they take our wellbeing over dollar signs. Pharmacies are nothing more than pill dispensaries. No pharmacist has ever done "quality control" on the products they order thus they don't have a clue what may or may not be in the pills they dole out to the public - on doctor's orders.
I agree with you which is why I stated that they get the product ready made. If they were apothacars who create medicines using a formula, they would not sell much new-age medicine.
This is an intersting discussion. One I am glad we are having. I am of the opinion that the opiod deaths/crisis currently being addressed is not so much the medical prescriptions as it is stupid children who are getting synthetic, laced with who knows what, drugs from some dude in a nightclub. I know from experience that until you take an opioid, you have no idea how your body will react to it - I have been prescribed meds that I have had a severe anaphalactic reaction to, but since it was in a controlled environment I received help fast. As a chronic pain sufferer I resent being tarred with the same brush as a drug abuser because what is happening currently, is people with real pain management needs are now being denied the very thing that helps them have some quality of ife.
Absolutely the truth. the docs in my neck of the woods are now decreasing the strength of the meds as dictated to by stricter regulations. Only thing is that I had to fight to get the right dosage for the pain I am in and now they are decreasing it, which leaves me where exactly? Back at a pain level that renders me non-functional.
I would be very loathe to use places like that because of what I mentioned earlier. who knows what you are getting if it's that easy to hand over $ for non-presciption pills.
