Here's the problem I have with these see through fence walls:

 

Mexicans place a heavy object next to the fence, like a car. There's a house in the pic, so not difficult to do. Attach one end of a rope to the car, and launch the other weighted end of the rope over the fence. Reach your arm through the fence and grab the rope. Attach the other end to the car. Leave sufficient slack in the rope which will allow scaling, then descaling the wall while the load is transferred from one end of the rope to the other.

True, but I was just thinking more of MS-13. But there is also the obvious problem of passing drugs through the fence wall. And then what about angle grinders? It would be easy to see when it was safe to cut the bars.

I don't know where it is, but you're right if it's not high traffic, conditions might be hard on our side to survive, like expansive desert regions, or it could be monitored with sensors or satellites for breaches.
