"The Space Force" has accidentally been captured on camera in the midst of its drills in the skies over Arizona, netizens have claimed after seeing mysterious lights and a glare appearing from nowhere in new footage.

The video, first posted by YouTube by Devil_Travels and then highlighted by conspiracy channel MrMBB333, shows six bright UFO-like objects hovering in formation in the sky above Yuma, but as times passes, the lights vanish until there are only three left forming a triangle. As the camera rolls, they are eventually reduced to just one.

https://nypost.com/2020/02/11/us-army-to-study-gamers-brains-to-build-ai-military-robots/

A group of experts wants to study the brain waves and eye movements of people playing a video game in order to build an advanced AI that could coordinate the actions of military robots.

The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, known as DARPA, awarded a team from the University of Buffalo’s Artificial Intelligence Institute a $316,000 grant for the study.

Although swarm robotics is inspired by many things, including ant colonies, researchers believe that humans have a lot of potential to improve AI learning systems. The study of 25 video game players will include real-time strategy games such as StarCraft, Stellaris and Company of Heroes.

We don’t want the AI system just to mimic human behavior; we want it to form a deeper understanding of what motivates human actions. That’s what will lead to more advanced AI,” Chowdhury told UBNow

https://thehackernews.com/2020/02/microsoft-windows-updates.html

few hours after Adobe today released security updates for five of its widely-distributed software, Microsoft also issued its February 2020 Patch Tuesday edition with patches for a total of 99 new vulnerabilities.

According to the advisories, 12 of the total issues patched by the tech giant this month are critical in severity, and the remaining 87 have been listed as important.

Five of the bugs are listed as publicly known at the time of release, four of which are important in severity and one critical (CVE-2020-0674) that is also listed as under active attack.

Microsoft warned about this zero-day vulnerability in Internet Explorer (IE) browser last month when it released an advisory without releasing a patch for millions of its affected users.

As explained previously, this flaw could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on targeted computers and take full control over them just by convincing victims into opening a maliciously crafted web page on the vulnerable Microsoft browser.

https://oregonbusinessreport.com/2020/02/oregon-ag-sues-trump-over-3d-printed-guns/

Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum joined a group of 21 Attorneys General in a lawsuit filed challenging the Trump administration’s latest rule allowing 3D-printed gun files to be released on the internet. The rule would effectively enable anyone to access 3D-print files online and make unregistered, untraceable firearms. These untraceable firearms, sometimes called “ghost guns,” are very difficult to trace or detect.

“These ‘plug and play’ online files make it easy for practically anyone to build their own untraceable gun, and they are very scary,” said Attorney General Rosenblum. “The Trump administration is proposing to give anyone with access to the internet and a 3D printer the ability to create deadly weapons, completely evading laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people.”

This is the second lawsuit filed by the Attorneys General related to 3D-printed gun files on the internet. The Attorneys General first filed a lawsuit in 2018, and in November, 2019 a federal judge struck down the federal government’s temporary rules allowing internet publication of 3D-printed gun files. However, yesterday the federal government issued new rules that would transfer regulation of 3D-printed guns from the State Department to the Department of Commerce, effectively allowing unlimited distribution.

The 22-inch line originates in St. James, Louisiana, and provides shippers with access to oil from the giant Louisiana Offshore Oil Port and crude from offshore platforms, according to Exxon’s website.

It was unclear Monday, the second full day the North Line was shut, how long it might be down. The line pumps crude to ExxonMobil’s 502,000 barrel per day (bpd) Baton Rouge, Louisiana, refinery as well as a handful of other plants.

The leak began at 1:54 a.m. June 14 at a failed bleeder plug on a tank and was discovered by operations personnel at 4:35 a.m., according to a timeline from ExxonMobil.

The leak was stopped at 5 a.m. The tank contained “steam cracked naphtha” which has a number of different components, including benzene.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency classifies benzene as a known cancer-causing material.
