Votesmart.org also links to a politician's Speeches and Funding. I needed something like this the last time my state had state elections. It seemed impossible to find out anything about the candidates for local office, state supreme court judge, or elected state government polisitions.
Just reading the pamphlet that voters receive 2 weeks before state elections wasn't adequate for proper decision-making.
It's not a browser issue. It's a website issue. Just started happening yesterday.

On the Votesmart.org website, it took about 5-10 minutes to Track each of the 30 or so local, state, and federal elected officials who represent me. Now I expect to receive email notifications every time they Vote, Take a Position on an Issue, get a Rating, make a Speech, or get Funding.
Don't know yet where the source data comes from or how often it will be updated. Hopefully the data provided will be reliable and useful!
