The 'end times' were judgement on Israel, who were destroyed by Rome. Proper translation and interpretation are that it was the end of the age of covenant Jews, not the end of the world. The new beginning and Christ's rule is through the age of the church. Jeff Durbin of Apologea does many sermons on this, I recommend you start there for proper answers. The mainstream 'end times' narrative is only around 200 years old and is false teaching.
