California allows illegal immigrants to vote in state elections. US census counts determine federal dollars to states. California uses same data for calculating state aid to its citizens instead of paying for state census.
By counting illegal immigrates, mostly Hispanic, California dilutes other minority groups. This means more state money goes away from poor black communities.

LAPD lost 23 Beretta .40-caliber pistols and eight Glock .40-caliber pistols. Old Compton City PD closed down, had vault with 200 weapons (some police issued, some unregistered). Between time when LAPD inventoried and collected guns, several disappeared. They never changed combo to vault. Time lag: theft took place sometime between March 6 and August 31, 2017.
