The other day on a morning walk through a Los Angeles region sports park, I noticed curious new banner ads on the walls of a Little League ball field. Dick's Tool shop in center field, and a pizza shop banner in far left field. Pizza + Dick's Tool. Message sent, a local Little League community showing who they are. Searching online later, I find there were no such places of business.
Armed with camera the following day to snap photos, I see that a film production company had set up in that ball field, and a shoot was underway. Casually walking the circumference, noticing the characters in uniform being placed before cameras, it was a shoot involving children.
So funny aren't they? Their humor knows no bounds in Hollywood! Little League age boys playing on a ball field with a Dick's Tool banner prominently displayed on the center field wall, with a pizza shop banner in left field. I began to take pictures, but was stopped by a security guy alerting me that no pictures are allowed on a film set without official permission. I acted dumb. He bought it.
I wasn't able to get a shot of the pizza shop banner, but it was there. Perhaps tomorrow I'll get it. Point is, we see you Hollywood! Nothing is going to stop what is coming!
