Navy Intel officer (spook) on a "direct commission program".

A direct commission officer (DCO) is a United States uniformed officer who has received a commission without the typical prerequisites for achieving a commission, such as attending a four-year service academy, a four-year or two-year college ROTC program, or one of the officer candidate school or officer training school programs, the latter OCS/OTS programs typically slightly over three months in length.

Civilians who have special skills that are critical to sustaining military operations, supporting troops, health and scientific study may receive a direct commission upon entering service. These officers usually occupy leadership positions in the following areas: law, science, medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nurse corps, intelligence, supply-logistics-transportation, engineering, public affairs, chaplain corps, oceanography, merchant marine affairs, and others.

The U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Coast Guard have more extensive active and reserve component DCO programs than the other two U.S. armed services.

In this case, he's a polyglot, so the Farm scooped him up. Plus, his father is a spook from Malta, and knows and works with Mifsud, the "Russian intel asset" who told Mueller that he saw Papadopolous talking to an actual Russian spy.

Because Mifsud set up the meeting.

And then dropped a dime on Georgie boy.

Oh, yeah, the Roger Stone Jury Foreman, a failed Democrat candidate, is a real piece of work.

Holy shit.

But Hart’s Twitter account suggests that she closely followed the Russia probe and other investigations involving Trump associates.

On Nov. 5, 2017 she tweeted a story about leaked documents purporting to show that Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross had secret ties to associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin. On March 3, 2017, she circulated a New Yorker story entitled, “Trump, Putin and the New Cold War.” On March 24, 2019, Hart wrote that Republicans were “ignoring the numerous indictments, guilty pleas, and convictions of people in 45’s inner-circle” that stemmed from former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Hart did not comment directly about Stone, whose case stemmed from Mueller’s investigation. But she did retweet a Jan. 30, 2019 post by CNN contributor Bakari Sellers that downplayed conservative criticism of the circumstances of Stone’s arrest.

Watch Israel’s wild new laser weapon shoot drones out of sky

An Israeli drone defense system fit for “Star Wars” has shot down multiple maneuvering targets with a high-powered laser beam, according to reports.

“The system achieved 100 percent success in all test scenarios,” defense technology company Rafael said in a statement about its Drone Dome C-UAS, or Counter-Unmanned Aerial System, the Times of Israel reported.

“The stages of the interception included target detection, identification and interception” with the laser beam, it said in a video of a recent demo of the system.

In the footage, a vehicle-mounted system is shown engaging the targets, including zigzagging drones. In one test, three drones flying in formation were downed in rapid succession.

“Drone Dome is designed to address threats posed by hostile drones both in military and civilian sites,” Rafael said.

The system offers “advanced solutions for maneuvering forces and military facilities, critical border protection, as well as civilian targets such as airports, public facilities, or any other sites that might be vulnerable to the increasing threat of both terror and criminal drones,” the company said.

Washington Examiner Editor Out After Colleague Secretly Recorded ‘Sexist and Hateful’ Comments

The high-level bloodletting at the Washington Examiner continued this week with the dramatic ouster of its managing editor on Monday, days after the conservative magazine fired its breaking news editor for sharing a lewd video.

Toby Harnden, a British journalist who joined the Examiner as managing editor in 2018, parted ways with the outlet on Monday morning.

Here’s where things get messy: Harnden was out after the aforementioned breaking news editor accused him of misconduct in a lengthy email, obtained by Mediaite, which included recordings of conversations.

“Toby is no longer with the Washington Examiner, but we do not comment on personnel matters,” Examiner editor-in-chief Hugo Gurdon wrote to Mediaite when reached for comment. He declined to say whether Harnden was fired. Harnden, when reached for comment, directed Mediaite to his lawyer, who did not respond to multiple emails and calls.

The ouster comes a week after Jon Nicosia, the Examiner’s breaking news editor, was fired on January 31. Days later, Nicosia sent an email to the outlet’s editor in chief accusing Harnden of mistreating staffers and making sexist and homophobic comments about employees.

Nicosia himself was fired for sending a tweet containing a lewd video to colleagues on Slack. He wrote a lengthy email to Gurdon defending himself, claiming that he posted the video (it involves a group of marines and a pink dildo) because he thought it “had the potential to become a controversial news story.” He pointed to similarly racy stories that the Examiner had published.

Jim's moving to, what, Judiciary? So we'll have Lindsay and Jim heading Judiciary in the Senate and House, and streamline all of these investigations into the Swamp.

Nice!
