First, want to thank you so much for being there and picking up at a time when there are so few bakers around. REALLY helps!

But also want to ask a favor regarding post attribution. It's customary to show where you came in by inserting "baker change" into the dough, not just putting it at the top, like so:

This way, it shows which posts are from which baker. So that we know who is responsible for what. Since we replatformed, we been kind of lax about this, although it's getting better. But some bakers may not know. Not sure how to communicate that, maybe a global note at some point. Again, thanks much.

NB did a baker class yesterday–LIVE in comms. I went over and hung out, answered some questions. I think there were 3 participants (that is, after the shills left – it was funny, they were like the disruptive kids in a classroom, so it was like middle school all over again.

Should help us get new bakers. I think he may do it at a fixed time (7pm Thurs ET), that's when he did the first one yesterday. Next time he does it, think i'll post the same thing for the new bakers that i posted for the baker after me. Maybe we can compile a little manual of baking conventions with different bakers comments.

Yes, it's great having more than one baker at the classes, because while one new baker was still trying to bake, i could answer questions from someone else. would love to hear multiple answers–you or others could put your two cents worth in, even now.

It's also interesting to see how different bakers answer questions like how often to post notes and when to start and finish. Gives new bakers multiple perspectives on baking.

Also, we can point anyone interested in baking to the class (and subsequent classes), where they can see the Q & A.

Understand, no worries.

For me, it matters to track baker changes because it is common for shills attribute stuff to bakers that they did not do (to include or exclude particular notables, for example). May sound trivial but has been used by shills to target particular bakers. Since i had that experience, i take precautions. It's one reason i also have an identifiable pastebin (free_baker)–so what i did and didn't do is all out in the open where anyone can check it out.

just checked, and found that R sent a message in reply to mine 4 hrs ago, said no problem for him with image loading. so i passed along what u said, noting that it's intermittent. he might not be up now, but at least he knows. Intermittent problems are the worst, hard to pin down the cause.
