I mentioned this yesterday..so many get complacent and rely on just being able to order anything online or get it at the store. What happens when the shelves are bare? Good reminder.
For those who can, make friends w a neighbor who produces things..buying local is always the way to go and this is just one reason why. When the SHTF youre going to be glad you took the time to source locally. It always goes without saying, but learning to conserve and make do or do without is a big key as well. Be happy with less. Grow it or make it yourself. Fix things. Reuse things.
(And even if nothing happens, still a good way to foster goodwill and save money. Win-win)
