I would sooner lean towards believing someone who tells me they have had a loss. Than not believing them. It is called being kind and warm hearted. The opposite of miserly, which is a good label for you.

Anons are above that. Anons give dignity and behave decently. Its what separates us from the deep state.
That might be part of the culture/tradition here, but not everyone knows that. The important thing is that we act with dignity and decency towards one another, especially those who are experiencing their hardships.
