I've understood the Numbers account to be a foreshadowing of Jesus and that he would become sin and death and be nailed to the cross. Since jews took a pass on their Messiah, it wouldn't be a stretch that they instead did (and still do) worship the serpent, rather than the crucifying of sin and death that it represented.

I'm constantly looking at the correlation between name construction and what the person's position is. I would have never thought this mattered before, but I can see that it must. All names do. Countries, businesses, address locations, all of it matters.

as my appreciation, and "feel for" what names, numbers and symbolism mean/represent, and then look at president's names, their number, the events that surrounded them, historic dates in our nation's timeline, the very name of our country, it's year of "independence"… I feel like everything over the past HUNDREDS of years has followed some kind of specific script.
