Old North Bridge 2011
Chris Cornell was a rather complex guy who wrote some really intense and perhaps hard to understand lyrics.
you aren't giving him justice by giving such a gloss to what those lyrics might really mean, nor do you account for ambiguity that makes things even more poetic and meaningful.
White hat? Black Hat?
poet?
victim survivor who tried to warn the world?
what's the real truth?
It never seemed scary to me, nor did it ever seem that any of the Seattle people were about anything involving hurting others . . . so the idea of Cornell having been a 'bad guy' seems very hard to me.
please take another look and maybe draw some other conclusions?
