Oh, please don't give up! There are so many things you can do. Pray. Search homeopathic health. (Milk Thistle is great for liver - and cheap). Listen to healing frequencies. Take a GOOD magnesium supplement. It changed my life. Common magnesium level tests (blood) aren't accurate because magnesium is stored in the tissues.

Magnesium:

regulates heart rhythm

muscle activity, including the heart

deeply involved in energy production

central nervous system function

electrolyte balance

glucose metabolism

helps maintain joint cartilage

reduces acidity in the stomach

improves bowel health

acts as an anti-oxidant

Helps digest proteins, carbs, fats

Necessary for Vitamin D absorption (which in turn reduces risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease)

Maintains nerve and muscle function

Vital for blood pressure regulation

Influences nitric oxide production (essential to proper tissue function. It is a signaling molecule in the body that tells the blood vessels to expand, allowing more blood and oxygen to flow to the organs and tissues, suppresses cell inflammation, promotes blood flow, limits vessel constriction, promotes new vessel formation, neurotransmitter)

Necessary for proper calcium utilization: (stimulates the hormone calcitonin which draws calcium out of the muscles and soft tissues and into the bones. This helps explain why magnesium helps lower the risk of heart attack, osteoporosis, arthritis and kidney stones)

Magnesium deficiency symptoms (or can trigger):

calcification of the arteries

muscle cramps, spasms, twitching

restless leg

stubborn weight gain (especially abdomen)

depression, anxiety, mood swings

low energy, fatigue

reflux

hypoglycemia

hyperactivity

tooth decay

vertigo/dizziness

confusion

poor memory

problems sleeping or staying asleep

nerve problems, neuropathy

PMS/hormone imbalance

constipation

hypertension (high blood pressure)

migraines

chronic neck and back pain

diabetes

heart disease

irregular heartbeat

arteries develop a buildup of plaque as a result of too much bad cholesterol and too much calcium

kidney disease

osteoporosis

recurrent bacterial or fungal infections due to low levels of nitric oxide or a depressed immune system

impotence

Ongoing magnesium deficiency can lead to: numbness, tingling, neuropathy, muscle contractions and cramps, seizures, personality changes, abnormal heart rhythms, and coronary spasms.

Chronic magnesium deficiency associated with: dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, mitral valve prolapse, fibromyalgia, ADHD, Parkinson’s Disease, colon cancer, bowel disease, blood clots, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, asthma, Atherosclerosis, type II diabetes.
