coronavirus on cruiseship Statendam

Netherlands is a tiny country, takes you 2 hours to drive from north to south and 17 million citizens in it.

Yesterday, cruiseship Statendam released its passengers. They’ve been on board since Feb 1st and not allowed to disembark anywhere. Potus arranged for them to disembark in Cambodja. Cruiseline insisted NOONE had ANY symptoms of Coronavirus.

So they let 3700 passengers go home.

Half way between home and Cambodje, an 81 YO US lady turne out to be sick and has been quarantined. This means that all those passengers have been in close contact. On planes, trains, busses etc. She was in a group with 80(!!) Dutch people who have arrived home. God knows how crowded my country is. The virus must have spread everywhere by now. It took autorities 24 hrs to respond. Netherlands is FUCKED now. Only a matter of time now.

I just dont get it. With the incubation time being 14 days, it is NOT POSSIBLE for that lady to get sick. Or… incubation time is longer than 14 days.

This sucks, anons!! Virus has been brought to all countries by this stupid mistake. Typhoid Mary on the Statendam.
