There is a difference. Condensation Trails (contrails) are short, and don't last more than a minute or so, and they completely disappear. "Chem-Trails" generally go as far as the eye can see, provided they are not turned off at specific points, and they actually billow downward after a minute or so as the particulates begin to fall out of the carrier they are suspended in. Chem-Trails also hang around for hours sometimes, as they disapate, and spread out through the surrounding air. Usually, within a couple of hours or so, they have spread out to create a hazy white cover, turning the sky into a shitty hazy mess. It's very obvious, if you pay attention.
