Newsguard is a front for Big Pharma that suppresses all pharma-truth news sites
As you may recall, Microsoft introduced a web browser plugin about a year ago called NewsGuard that supposedly helps to filter out “fake news” from people’s online search results. But it turns out that NewsGuard is just another deep state scheme aimed at censoring all real news, and it’s being funded in large part by the pharmaceutical industry.
A bulk of NewsGuard’s original startup funding came from a global communications entity known as the Publicis Groupe that just so happens to run a health subsidiary called Publicis Health. Named among Publicis Health’s clients are pharmaceutical corporations like Abbot, Amgen, Astra Zeneca, Bayer, Biogen, Celgene, Genentech, Gilead, Roche, and Sanofi – a who’s who of the biggest names in Big Pharma.
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is also connected to Publicis Health, having tasked the group with developing a customized media business platform called “platformGSK.” Back in October 2018, following a five-month review, GSK awarded its $1.5 billion media account to Publicis Health, which it now handles “all offline and digital paid media strategy and planning (for GSK) in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
