Ok, moran.

Right now, your children are promised into debt just so you can buy a candy bar.

If you genuinely think that selling the world into eternal debt, just so you can "live" your life, "freely" as you think you are at this moment in time, then you clearly don't have much of a say in the matter either. Gold is far from a useless substance. There are numerous technological applications, which is just one example of how tangible substances, like gold, can hold intrinsic value. As opposed to the current method of backing your dollar by debts, that are far beyond our control, and clearly have been abused very disturbingly over time.

In case you're wondering, the powers that be fought very hard to get US off the gold standard for a very specific reason. The country has gone down the shitter ever since. It may not be the best solution ever imagined, but if one needs a complete makeover of their monetary system, people are place much more faith in a currency that is backed by something solid. Otherwise, inflation can spiral out of control, until the money is absolutely worthless in the world markets.

>never forget that all the 'powers that be' are here too

No shit! Amazing how that works, right?

To think, these fuckers basically control all the world's fiat currency, giving them the illusion of immense amounts of power, yet a few patriots get together on a free-speech board, and start talking about making a positive change for the sake of humanity, and these rich twats have to spend hoards of cash to try to combat OUR narrative, which will inevitably lead to their demise, as we do not need them, nor did we ever.

No moar New World Order. It's Our World Now

>Is that clear?

Totally. But remember, you're just one faggot, and whether or not you think gold has any value is irrelevant when 7.5 billion other people in this world are willing to accept it as a "valuable" substance. So, there is that. Doesn't matter if 250 million people of one country want to vore on whether something should back their currency or not, if the rest of the world thinks it's a joke. You better be completely independent of every single other nation on this planet if you're going to go down that road.

Right now, the only reason why our dollar holds any value, is because someone who accepts it as a form of payment can in turn use said fiat currency to buy up things in our country that hold tangible value, like real estate for example. There has to be something backing your currency, otherwise nobody will give a shit. Gold isn't the solution to all of life's problems, but it provides a stability, that has withstood the test of time. Even if markets fluctuate, the floor doesn't suddenly drop out entirely from underneath one's feet.

>Rome became great and powerful

Let's pretend like we like we live in the modern era, for a sec.

How's Rome doing these days, exactly?

>By creating real money and rejecting the power of the JEWISH money lenders

Meanwhile, you're still trying to stop da joos, anon.

>So, please tell me again about the wonderful gold standard.

>Do you equate Rome with the despicable Catholic Church?

Um, for starters, do not confuse the "Roman Empire" with the "'Holy' Roman Empire" or even the "Roman Catholic Church". Each is a separate entity.

Second, if you frequent this board, you then perhaps you've heard of this "phenomena" known as "Q". You should look into this moar. In regards to this particular topic, go back and reread the crumbs about the 'Holy See', and note, that here we have this MIGHTY "Roman" "Empire" which you seem to think is the same as Julius Caesar's Rome, which I assure you it is not, and by the way, would you look at that. My gosh, what did they do? They borrowed money from those darn "JEWISH" money lenders to survive.

But seriously. Lurk moar.

>That was truly humanity's golden age

This all seems fine and dandy, but there appears to be one critical flaw in your assessment. It appears to be taken quite literally from the mainstream explanation as to what has happened on this planet over the past 2,000 years or so. There are a number of scholars who have questioned the accuracy of the "historical" timeline and mainstream narrative that has been literally forced onto this planet over the last 400 years or so.

Technically, even further than that, as pretty an entire 12,000 years has been fabricated to explain the "evolution" of "civilized" man, while trying to hide the fact that our entire planet has been picking up the pieces after multiple planetary catastrophes devastated the populations of Earth.

The "golden age" goes back to the time prior to the catastrophes, when our ancestors didn't have to deal with all the shit that future generations had to endure in order for life to survive. Most of the shit they've falsely credited to "the Romans" are actually other civilizations entirely. Either that, or they aren't up front about how far "Roman" influence really reached. But in all honesty, it appears that "Roman" culture arrived in between catastrophic events, which both aided in the rise and the fall of said "Empire". However, looking at megalithic structures, it's quite obvious that the "Romans" were far from the most advanced humans that lived up until their time.

Literally, everything is propaganda and lies. Like, fucking everything. It's sad, and crazy, but most likely,it's true.
