De blasio was right on so many fronts in not hiring Ms.Smith. Her and Spitzer seem cut from the same cloth. According to media reports, she had a previous relationship with a politician who ended up in jail, distributed private emails from an ex-boyfriend to his coworkers to humiliate him for breaking up with her and apparently began her relationship with Spitzer while still working for him. She seems immature, mean and vindictive – just like her new boyfriend.
