Living in an urban environment seems to engender people who really are divorced from reality. Farming, mining, ranching, fishing, building, creating with your hands, all those sorts of tasks that connect people with the real world, produces people who have their heads screwed on straight and who understand cause and effect in an intuitive way.

spouseanon and i kick this around regularly. whether to hold people (family!) responsible for their bad choices and wrong actions, or forgive them for their stupidity and ignorance and laziness. a dilemma i dont know how to resolve. yes they failed to learn what we learned, because they chose to trust tv anchors and fake news for their entire life. yes they failed spiritually by choosing the 'tasty but less filling' path that tickled their ears but provided no true path to repentance and salvation. yes they fail, to this day, to acknowledge past mistakes/sins, even though they are starting to perceive big cracks in their worldview. most people are not autists and not inclined to dig out the truth and discern it for themselves, not inclined to reject a ready-made narrative that's handed to them. they chose the easy path.
and yet we are admonished by Q (and by God) to protect and comfort the naive, the innocent, the lost. God is not willing that any should perish. He gives people so many chances to turn away from evil and choose to do good.
notice that POTUS has also given the cabal many, many, many warnings and chances to turn away from the evil path?

the Bible also talks about law and morality. it also says 'did you know we are to judge angels?' some of us will be in the role of judge or jury or witness, when people are judged
