The bottom 3 are pics of you the Chicago worlds fair. Where’s the top two from?

No way they spent millions on each of those buildings in 1897 actual dollars just to tear them down in a couple of years.

Those buildings had to be removed with a bullshit story, just like they had “worlds fairs” at cities all over the world with the same “Greco Roman” style buildings, then tore them all down.

Jon Levi has another vid on the StLous worlds fair with old postcards that say the buildings cost over a million each.

There were later “expositions” where they did build out of plaster, probably as a cover story for the earlier worlds fairs.

Why are there no pics of the construction of the worlds fairs? (Rhetorical question)
