Trump Raises Stakes In Fight With Boris Johnson, Says Using Huawei Jeopardizes US Intelligence

President Donald Trump issued a warning Sunday to countries that use Chinese tech company firm, Huawei.

Any country partnering with Huawei risk jeopardizing U.S.’ ability to share intelligence, the president said through one of his chief diplomats, U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell. Trump’s comment comes after Britain permitted Huawei limited access in January to the country’s network.

Trump “just called me from AF1 and instructed me to make clear that any nation who chooses to use an untrustworthy 5G vendor will jeopardize our ability to share Intelligence and information at the highest level,” Grenell told his Twitter followers Sunday evening.

Britain is reportedly allowing the company to supply and build 5G network infrastructure but will deny the massive company access to some of Britain’s government sites. Britain officials had been under intense pressure from the Trump administration to block Huawei.

Huawei considers the move a win, even though Britain also limited its market share to 35%.

Meanwhile, American officials are stepping up their anti-Huawei campaign. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, for instance, told his Twitter followers in January that Britain had a “momentous decision ahead on 5G.”

Former Rep. Mike Rogers of Michigan was among a handful of people who panned Britain’s move. “It’s a recipe for disaster,” he said in a press statement addressing the decision.

China has reportedly spent $24 billion more on wireless communications infrastructure since 2015 than the U.S.

The country also built more 5G towers in a three-month span in 2017 than the U.S. did in three years. There are also concerns that Huawei’s and ZTE’s close ties to China leave the U.S. open to cyberattacks.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) released two more ads this week ahead of the February 22 Nevada caucuses, one that focuses on the “climate crisis” and another that takes on President Trump, calling him the “most corrupt president in American history.”

The Sanders campaign is rolling out two more ads ahead of Saturday’s caucuses in Nevada. The first, titled “Nevada First,” focuses primarily on the “climate crisis,” describing the socialist senator as the only candidate who “has a plan bold enough to avert the climate crisis and put Nevada first.”

“As president, he’ll create good-paying jobs building the infrastructure and affordable housing we need to keep immigrant families together and end the greed and corruption destroying our planet,” the ad states:

The second ad, “Belongs to Us,” takes aim at Trump directly, describing him as the “most corrupt president in American history.”

“But the greed and corruption undermining our democracy is bigger than one man,” Sanders states in the ad.

“When we stand together, we will make billionaires pay their fair share, provide better wages for workers and equal pay for women,” he says, promising to expand Social Security and “guarantee health care for all.”

“I’m Bernie Sanders, and I approve this message because the future doesn’t belong to Trump and his billionaire friends,” he continues. “It belongs to us”:

Pro-Iranian Regime US Senator Held Secret Meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif in Munich, Germany

NYC Police Officer Commits Suicide in His Home

The detective, who had served in the local police for years, was recently placed on modified-duty and had his weapons take away from him, according to NYPD sources.

A New York City Police Department officer has committed suicide at his mother's home in Queens, the New York Post reported on Monday.

According to local law enforcement sources, the officer hanged himself at the home in Middle Village.

Upon the family's request, the detective's identity has been withhold.

The detective did not leave any suicide note behind and the motives behind his death so far remain unknown. Commenting on his death, a source said, "nobody seems to know why".
