Q! I'm writing a letter to POTUS, i'll mail it out tomorrow. Its about my grandfather, a WWII veteran who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day but was injured, ending his army career. He came home, healed up and raised his family. His brother was a POW in Germany.
When we contacted the records dept, they said a fire lost all records of his time in the army. He'll be 102 in a few months. When we were looking at his medals on the wall I said to him "you did good, gramp. You did real good." He just stared at the empty spot on the wall and said "I cant die happy until my purple heart fills that space."
The letter has a flag on it from NY. I told him if theres anybody in the world who can help, POTUS can.
God Bless you all and God Bless America
