Some of you may be familiar with the observed reaction between two of the same electrical charges which repel from each other. Or the famous scientific phrase ‘Like Charges Repel’.
For example:
A Positive and Positive charge push away from each other.
A Negative and Negative charge push away from each other.
Now that being considered just hold that thought for a moment.
Graphite is made up of many layers graphene. Graphite can be cleved and separated between these layers.
So the process would be to take a piece of graphite and align two electrodes (ideally made of graphene) on the edge. One electrode on the right and one on the left.
When both electrodes discharge the same electrical charge, let’s say positive and positive, these charges travel through the conductive graphite and meet each other and the repelling force cleaves the graphene from the Graphite block.
The reason you would want to use graphene piece as an electrode is because you’d want to focus the electric charge so that it flows on a single layer on both sides to separate by the thickness of the electrodes which is the same as the desired material.
I filed for a patent for this but couldn’t get the paperwork right so it was rejected. I can’t afford $5k to file formally through a patent lawyer so screw it you’re welcome world.
I have so many ideas but they keep me poor so I give them to the world.
This is how you make graphene which is one of three ways I’ve discovered.
