I think this is to push anons and trump supporters into thinking that the economy is sucking which it will if this continues. no one's wages are going up. I looked into some of the "investment" companies who are buying up the properties and building them. they are "banks" which are taking "investments" from foreign money, china, Japan, etc… and this is not going to end well. it is money laundering of some sort and its to put people out on the streets. this is happening quickly and I dont know what will happen to me and thousands of others like me who cannot pay for these taxes. of course we will lose our homes and mine is already paid for and I still cannot afford the monthly taxes which are now over !200.00 per month. electricity and water are $500 that never went down even tho oil did, and our electricity is city run and a monopoly. also of course I have bills and other stuff but the basic costs are $2000 per month before groceries and gas. so as an older person this is not working for me and my tax office said even after I turn 65 my taxes will not go down. they are forcing me to sell, but I have no where to buy. I would have to move to another town and that won't be close because everywhere I look houses are so high when last year they were a 1/3 of the prices being asked now.
