Common cold is a serious problem in the PNW in wintertime. Lots of rain all the time, cool weather, people leaving the umbrella at home because it looked OK in the morning.
Colds are caused by either Rhinovirus or Coronavirus or both.
If you have a bad cold, the doctor says "We'll monitor this for a while. Call us if your condition changes".
