Real ID easy to commit fraud to get. True story: went to get Real IDs for my parents, who both have Alzheimer’s, as they no longer have drivers licenses. My sis has POA for all their finances so all their limited mail goes to her. They live with me physically. DMV required they have mail in their name at my address. I explained it all, DMV rep told me to make up a fake rental agreement and bring it in for them. I told them No, not going to lie. Mentioned this mail problem to a different DMV employee later, and they told me to do the same thing! CA DMV is corrupt as shit. Peeps can use their passports to fly. No Real ID for them.
