Here is Anastasiya and Prince Harry. Remember that Anastasiya's mother was Queen Victoria's granddaughter, and Anastasiya had blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair.

People with reddish hair from Viking areas, including Ireland, Denmark, Northern Germany (my ancestry) and northern Poland, all have certain similar features above and beyond hair color. I am German-Irish and Anastasiya reminds me of my childhood photos. My eldest daughter looks very similar as well.

But this is due to, a) royals spreading their genes all around, and b) dominant genes that express in the shape of the face. One must be very careful about jumping to conclusions when comparing photos of such people because my German ancestors dug their genealogy back 9 generations during the 3rd Reich, and we have nothing approaching nobility. The best I remember was a baker a few generations back but most were simple farmers.

One thing is certain, the woman named Anna Anderson was actually a Polish woman, an impostor. That is quite obvious from old photos. But Anastasiya did write letters from Siberia for a couple of years which suggests to me that she may have left Russia via northern China. There is even a pocket of ethnic Russians still in China, born in China and citizens of China. Real life is far more complex than most people can imagine.

Here is a photo of Mariya and Anastasiya in 1916 in a soldiers' hospital in Tsarskoe Selo. Our Romanov descendant used a clip of that photo in the previous bread. I assume she is a descendant of Anastasiya and possibly was doing a montage with her mother's photo to show the resemblance.

If this descendant would provide the raw unmodified photos, we have Anons who are much more experienced at doing these kinds of montages.

Alexei and Barron…

Go back and read what I wrote about reddish hair and associated dominant genes which express as facial characteristics. When you see these similarities you can be sure that the two people are in the pool of 5-10 million people with reddish hair who are related. A bit related.

North German/Scandinavian/Prussian origin.
