And we must not threaten their core beliefs, even if we disagree with them. Instead, we must focus on the only truly important "divide"… GOOD vs. EVIL. Most people can understand this. If we show them that we are putting away criminals then they will understand. As for the "core beliefs" that they developed by listening to the criminals, that will take care of itself over time.
