Everything you thought was real is not, what you thought you could hold onto as a pillar is also a lie crumbling like all the rest. It can be truly terrifying to those who are of not quite as strong a constitution.

The "protests" are becoming more and more sparsely attended, despite the offer of pay in $oro$bux - the constant outrage and identity politics are a drag instead of an impetus. The adrenal glands of their "true believer" footsoldiers are being drained (and many are druggies anyway) so momentum is slowing just when they need it the most.
