I think Blago and Kerik are going to be examples of malicious prosecution, tying in to the Stone and Flynn cases.

They'll be used as context to trap the factions screaming about Trump abusing judiciary oversight.

 

In Blago's case, as the governor he could have picked whomever he wanted as a senate replacement, and that may have not been what the Obama handler's had in mind. Blago then getting the full weight of the justice apparatus dumped on him for it is a distinct possibility, IMO.

How does the Blago trial timeline fit in with Rahm Emanuel moving into Chicago as mayor? Emanuel basically bought himself in, IIRC, like Bloomberg in the pres race now. There were all kind of questions about Emanuel even being eligible, I believe.
