Milken's advocates, for example, included all of the above — along with Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal attorney. It was Giuliani who charged Milken with 98 felony counts, including racketeering, insider trading and securities fraud, when he served as the top federal prosecutor in New York City in 1989.

"He paid a big price, paid a very tough price," Trump said of Milken, who was among a small group of GOP mega donors who spent Election Night 2018 at the White House, according to media reports.

ICE arrests drug dealer despite Philadelphia officials' refusal to cooperate

PHILADELPHIA – On Feb. 12, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers arrested an illegally present Jamaican man, who was released from Philadelphia custody, despite the presence of an ICE detainer filed with local authorities.

On May 24, 2009, Travas Anthony Vassell, 30, was admitted into the United States in New York on a non-immigrant visitor with authorization to remain in the United States until Nov. 23, 2009; However, Vassell failed to lawfully depart the United States as required.

On March 14, 2018, the Philadelphia Police Department arrested Vassell for the criminal offenses of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, possession of narcotics, carrying a firearm without a license, and carrying a firearm in the city of Philadelphia. ICE lodged an immigration detainer with Philadelphia Police Department that same day.

On April 2, 2018, the Philadelphia prison system released him into the community despite the active ICE detainer.

On Oct. 31, 2018, the Court of Common Pleas in the County of Philadelphia convicted Vassell of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, possession of narcotics, carrying a firearm without a license, and carrying a firearm in the city of Philadelphia and sentenced him to six months to 23 months incarceration and a period of three years of probation.

ERO Philadelphia arrested Vassell and he remains in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings before a federal immigration judge.

“Unfortunately, this is another example of how Philadelphia policies limiting cooperation with ICE result in significant public safety concerns,” said Simona L. Flores-Lund. “ERO deportation officers are committed to enforcing the immigration laws set forth by our legislators, although the City of Philadelphia releases inmates with active ICE detainers back into their community, the women and men of ICE will remain undeterred in its responsibility to find those in violation of immigration law and ultimately have them removed from the country."

Syrian, Russian Air-Defense Forces Foil Drone Attack On Hmeimim Air Base

Late on February 19, the Syrian and Russian air defense forces foiled a new drone attack on the Hmeimim Air Base in southern Lattakia. According to Syrian state TV, several “aerial objects” were successfully intercepted by air-defense systems over the coastal governorate.

Pro-government sources reported that the attack was launched from Greater Idlib, claiming that “long-range” rockets were also used in the attack.

Greater Idlib is controlled by the al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and several other terrorist group. The Turkish military maintains a fairly large force in the northwestern Syrian region.

The failed attack on the Hmeimim Air Base is a perfect example of the threats posed by the remaining terrorists in Greater Idlib.

Last month, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies launched a large operation to clear the entire region. However, Ankara is now threatening the army with military action if the operation continues.

Prosecution to recommend investigation into former company owned by Gantz

Blue and White leader Benny Gantz is not a suspect in the case.

The state prosecution is expected to recommend to Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit to criminally probe whether there was any wrongdoing by the Fifth Dimension, a now bankrupt cybersecurity company that was formerly owned by Blue and White Party leader Benny Gantz.

At this stage, Gantz is not expected to be treated as a suspect, only as a fact witness, and no formal decisions are expected until after the March 2 election.

The first report of possible wrongdoing surfaced in Haaretz last February, followed by a report by former state comptroller Joseph Shapira in March 2019.

It appeared that Channel 13 was tipped off first about the latest developments on Wednesday night, but The Jerusalem Post has independently confirmed the reports.

It was unknown whether the regular police or the Police Investigations Department would run the probe, since it was unclear if the case was mostly against Fifth Dimension employees, middlemen or some of the police involved.

In March 2019, Shapira’s report said that the police had acted improperly in granting Gantz’s Fifth Dimension company a deal to produce a technological solution without following the standard competitive bidding process.

More specifically, the report said that the company made three misleading statements in selling to the police, to get them to grant Fifth Dimension the deal.

Part of the delay in deciding whether to go after the Fifth Dimension on criminal charges has been that it had middlemen who were former top senior police officials, who might have gotten special treatment from police – and Gantz himself was allowed to be present during internal police discussions about who to grant the deal to.

In the end, Gantz’s company was paid only NIS 4 million of the NIS 50m. it might have gotten for the full deal, since it carried out only a pilot program before going bankrupt.

The company went bankrupt after its main investor, a Russian tycoon close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, was sanctioned by the US government.

Shapira’s report had said that the police even were prepared to grant Fifth Dimension use of proprietary police technology at a discount to help it develop the solution that the police wanted it to produce.

Outlawed are food donations to homeless shelters because the city can’t assess their salt, fat and fiber content, reports CBS 2’s Marcia Kramer.

Glenn Richter arrived at a West Side synagogue on Monday to collect surplus bagels — fresh nutritious bagels — to donate to the poor. However, under a new edict from Bloomberg’s food police he can no longer donate the food to city homeless shelters.

It’s the “no bagels for you” edict.

“I can’t give you something that’s a supplement to the food you already have? Sorry that’s wrong,” Richter said.

Richter has been collecting food from places like the Ohav Zedek synagogue and bringing it to homeless shelters for more than 20 years, but recently his donation, including a “cholent” or carrot stew, was turned away because the Bloomberg administration wants to monitor the salt, fat and fiber eaten by the homeless.

Richter said he was stunned. He said his family has eaten the same food forever and flourished.

By now, many of us are aware of the importance of eating organic produce and other foods. Although we may often try our best, sometimes the organic option can cost an arm and a leg so we opt for conventionally grown foods from time to time. Perhaps we even follow the advice given by the Environmental Working Group’s “Clean Fifteen” and “Dirty Dozen” program. While this is a great way to reduce your exposure to chemically laden pesticides known to have many detrimental side effects, not to mention the fact that they are essentially a straight up poison, designed specifically to kill, pests, another simple option also exists. The use of baking soda to wash produce effectively removes up to 96 percent of pesticides from fruit and vegetables.

The Research

Scientists from the University of Massachusetts published a study in the journal, Agricultural and Food Chemistry on the effects of baking soda on gala apples. The apples used in the study were sprayed with two types of pesticides: phosmet, a known insecticide and thiabendazole, which is a fungicide. After the pesticides were given time to penetrate into the apple peels, the apples were rinsed with three different liquid solutions: tap water, a ratio of 1% baking soda to 99% water and a commonly used bleaching solution.

Lead author, Dr Lili He from the University of Massachusetts said,

Pesticide residues may remain on agricultural produce, where they contribute to the total dietary intake of pesticides. Concerns about potential hazards of pesticides to food safety and human health have increased, and therefore, it is desirable to reduce these residues.

Dawn Butler, a Labour Party MP and Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities, made the comment yesterday on the popular morning TV show Good Morning Britain (GMB) while discussing transgender issues.

GMB presenter Richard Madeley asked Butler: "Do you think somebody that embraces transgender but nevertheless decides that there is a biological difference based on chromosomes, based on a penis that may not have been removed after surgery, are you saying that you think that person is transphobic?"

Butler replied: "If you’re saying that a trans woman isn’t a woman then there are issues around that.”

"Talking about penises and vaginas doesn’t help the conversation because what you’re saying then is a trans woman isn’t a woman by your own definition," she added.

Moments later in the interview Madeley said: "Look when a child is born they are identified and observed in a particular way."

Butler replied: "A child is born without sex, a child is formed without sex in the beginning.”

Butler is currently campaigning to become deputy leader of the Labour Party. She is one of several high-ranking members of the party, including leadership hopeful Rebecca Long-Bailey, who has signed a “trans-rights” pledge which commits them to supporting the expulsion from the party anyone who holds so-called “transphobic” views.

The pledge and its support from Labour leaders has been criticised for describing groups, such as Woman’s Place UK, as “trans-exclusionist hate groups” because of their support for women-only spaces for services such as toilets and domestic violence refuges.

Well-known GMB host Piers Morgan, who says he supports “transgender rights,” responded to the interview on Twitter by simply posting the word “Insane.”

Doug Jones Asked Whether Abortion Should Be Banned After 5 Months: ‘What A Stupid Question’

Democratic Alabama Sen. Doug Jones said Wednesday that asking whether abortion should be banned after five months is “a stupid question.”

Video footage shows the Alabama senator laughing as he answered a question about late-term abortions — abortions performed after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Jones did not answer whether or not he supported abortions after five months and laughed at the question.

“Do you think abortion should be banned after five months?” a person questioned Jones.

“What stupid question do you got for me?” Jones said, and when the person repeated the question, Jones repeated with a laugh, “Should abortion be banned … as I said, what a stupid question.”

“You’re voting on it next week,” the person told him.

The Senate will vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act later in February, both Republican backed pieces of legislation that seek to ensure the safety of unborn babies. The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act would protect babies capable of pain, while the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act would protect babies born alive in botched abortions.

The Senate blocked similar 20-week abortion legislation, backed by President Donald Trump, in January 2018. Jones voted “no” on the bill that would have banned most abortions after 20 weeks.

Jones represents the state of Alabama, where Republican Gov. Kay Ivey signed one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country in May 2019, making performing an abortion a felony with no exceptions for rape or incest.

Jones called this legislation “extreme” and “irresponsible” in May 2019.

“I just don’t think that it is representative of what most people in Alabama think or what they want from the government,” he said, according to The Associated Press.

Jones did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Louisiana Man Gets 15 Years For Coersion and Enticement of Minors on Instagram

United States Attorney Brandon J. Fremin announced that U.S. District Court Judge John W. deGravelles sentenced Gerald Joseph Braud, Jr., age 46, of Gonzales, Louisiana, to serve 180 months in federal prison following his conviction for coercion and enticement of a minor. Braud will also be required to serve five years of supervised release and register as a convicted sex offender upon his release from prison.

According to admissions Braud made during his plea, on or about April 23, 2018, Braud, at his home in Gonzales, Louisiana, used Instagram to communicate with Minor Victim 1. Braud used the Instagram name “cornelious12345.” Minor Victim 1 identified herself as a 14-year old who lived in North Carolina, and Braud falsely told her that he was 16, almost 17 years old, when in truth, he was 44 years old. Braud then asked her to “talk dirty” with him. During their sexually explicit chat on Instagram, Braud sent Minor Victim 1 sexually explicit images of himself and repeatedly requested to see sexually explicit images and videos of Minor Victim 1. Minor Victim 1 complied with several of these requests and sent Braud sexually explicit images.

Additionally, between February and May 2018, Braud contacted at least four other minor victims over Instagram who identified themselves to Braud as minors. Similar to Minor Victim 1, Braud engaged these minor victims in sex talk, lied about his age, made promises of love, sent sexually explicit images of himself, and requested that these minor victims send him sexually explicit images and videos of themselves to Braud. Four of them responded with sexually explicit images. Braud later admitted to law enforcement that he asked at least 15 minor girls for nude pictures or videos.

U.S. Attorney Fremin stated, “This conviction and sentence once again demonstrates that our office, along with our law enforcement partners, will fight aggressively to protect our communities from child predators, such as Gerald Braud. We will continue to work tirelessly to bring justice to those individuals who exploit or harm our children. I commend our prosecutor and the agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for their excellent work in this matter.”

A prominent Michigan official — who received an award from the state’s Democratic Party earlier this year — is now facing six felony charges for stunning election crimes.

Sherikia Hawkins, who servers as a city clerk for Southfield, allegedly forged records and falsely marked absentee ballots as invalid during the 2018 midterm election.

The Democrat was arrested on Monday after the Oakland County Clerk’s office noticed discrepancies in voter counts while certifying absentee ballots from Southfield.

After police got involved and conducted an investigation, authorities found that records had been altered so that nearly 200 voter files were improperly listed as invalid.

“Our elections are the foundation of our democracy, and under my and Attorney General [Dana] Nessel’s administration there will be no tolerance for any actions that undermine that foundation — anywhere, anytime, by any person or official,” Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson said in a statement.

Hawkins was arraigned on Monday and released on $15,000 bond.

According to court documents, Michigan police found that 193 absentee voter files were changed in the city’s computer system to say they either had no signature or no return date, when they had both valid signatures and return dates.

Police stated that after Oakland County Election Director Joseph Rozell found that Hawkins had submitted altered reports, his staff found the original ones in a trash can at the election division office.

“All valid votes in the election were ultimately counted and the final official vote total was accurate,” she said.

Hawkins’ arrest comes just months after she was honored May 18 at the Michigan Democratic Party’s Legacy Dinner, where she received the Dingell/Levin Award. In 2017, she was listed among the “40 under 40” by the Michigan Chronicle, according to a government bio from her previous role as Pontiac city clerk.

Hawkins was charged with falsifying records in violation of state election law, forgery of a public record, misconduct in office and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime. The top count carries a maximum penalty of 14 years in prison.

Seems like corrupt Democrats have been charged and arrested a lot lately.

-Fall River Democratic Mayor Jasiel Correia was arrested on charges that he conspired to extort hundreds of thousands of dollars from companies seeking to operate marijuana businesses.

-A Democrat superior court judge in Massachusetts was arrested for assault and battery after she attacked her wife inside their home. Judge Shannon Frison allegedly “forcibly grabbed” her wife’s hair while she was holding a young child.

-A Democratic Indiana state representative and firefighter was arrested and charged after impersonating a police officer and trying to buy cocaine while driving under the influence.

SAN FRANCISCO – Facebook Inc is slated to begin a tax trial in a San Francisco court on Tuesday, as the Internal Revenue Service tries to convince a judge the world’s largest social media company owes more than $9 billion linked to its decision to shift profits to Ireland.

The trial, which Facebook expects will take three to four weeks, could see top executives including hardware chief Andrew Bosworth and Chief Technology Officer Mike Schroepfer called to testify, according to a document the company filed in January.

The witness list also includes Naomi Gleit and Javier Olivan, veterans of Facebook’s aggressive growth team, and Chief Revenue Officer David Fischer.

The IRS argues that Facebook understated the value of the intellectual property it sold to an Irish subsidiary in 2010 while building out global operations, a move common among U.S. multinationals. Ireland has lower corporate tax rates than the United States, so the move reduced the company’s tax bill.

Under the arrangement, Facebook’s subsidiaries pay royalties to the U.S.-based parent for access to its trademark, users and platform technologies. From 2010 to 2016, Facebook Ireland paid Facebook U.S. more than $14 billion in royalties and cost-sharing payments, according to the court filing.

The company said the low valuation reflected the risks associated with Facebook’s international expansion, which took place in 2010 before its IPO and the development of its most lucrative digital advertising products.

What is Donald Trump's place in the big picture?

Trump is a Freemason and probably a crypto Jew. He is surrounded by Jews. The Masonic Jewish (Illuminati) goal is the reduction of the human race (goyim) to the status of domestic animals serving them. We see this emergent pattern in the gross disparities of wealth in today's world.
