Back in the day….long time ago, there were a series of restaurant fires in Glen Burnie, MD which were highly suspicious. Ultimately, the cause of the blazes was determined to be rats that had been doused w/an accelerant and then set on fire. The rats were set loose and took off on their known (hidden) routes to safety and spread fire all along the way. Suspicious restaurant fires were thereafter known as Glen Burnie Specials.
