Airborne Viruses Killed by Constant Low Dose 222 nm Far UVC Light - No Harm to Humans.

The bulbs will be $1000 each until we mass produce them.

SPECIAL UV LIGHT SAFELY KILLS AIRBORNE FLU VIRUS, FINDS STUDY

"[Several years ago, Dr. Brenner and his colleagues hypothesized that a narrow spectrum of ultraviolet light called far-UVC could kill microbes without damaging healthy tissue. "Far-UVC light has a very limited range and cannot penetrate through the outer dead-cell layer of human skin or the tear layer in the eye, so it's not a human health hazard. But because viruses and bacteria are much smaller than human cells, far-UVC light can reach their DNA and kill them," he said.

In their earlier studies, Dr. Brenner's team demonstrated that far-UVC light was effective at killing MRSA (methicillin-resistant S. aureus) bacteria, a common cause of surgical wound infections, but without harming human or mouse skin.

Influenza virus spreads from person to person mainly through fine liquid droplets, or aerosols, that become airborne when people with flu cough, sneeze, or talk. The new study was designed to test if far-UVC light could efficiently kill aerosolized influenza virus in the air, in a setting similar to a public space. In the study, aerosolized H1N1 virus–a common strain of flu virus–was released into a test chamber and exposed to very low doses of 222 nm far-UVC light. A control group of aerosolized virus was not exposed to the UVC light. The far-UVC light efficiently inactivated the flu viruses, with about the same efficiency as conventional germicidal UV light.

"If our results are confirmed in other settings, it follows that the use of overhead low-level far-UVC light in public locations would be a safe and efficient method for limiting the transmission and spread of airborne-mediated microbial diseases, such as influenza and tuberculosis," said Dr. Brenner.]"

>Interesting.

Yeah. I thought so too. This is huge, even if there was no Covid19.

Where are the engineering anons, and anons who want to start a business? This is a niche starter market.

Wonder what low dose means.

Going to go see if there is a full original study somehwere.

"Safe for human exposure, far-UVC light may offer low-cost solution to eradicating airborne viruses in indoor public spaces"

Can you imagine little constant 25 watt bulbs in the ceilings that constantly put a nix on your average every year "flu season"?

(Much less constantly decontaminate your home environment without having to leave home, when there is a pandemic barreling down the track at us all from over seas)

Should prolly think of making one for the car overhead light too.

>You're talking about a light that effectively destroys a strand of RNA/DNA in the air.

>You know, the stuff that makes us what we are?

Yeah Duh?

The researchers are talking about a NARROW band that does not penetrate human cells, but does penetrate viral cells because they are so much smaller.

Think?

How bout READ.

>We would have to see the engineering specs on it before we know if it can be controlled like that.

ABSOLUTELY. This makes sense.

BUT.

What you do NOT do is take a lead like this, even if only one chance in a thousand it would work, and poo poo it without more research.

The chances that it works upon scientific repitition, and the number of illnesses it would kill world wide if it did is FAR too big a medical breakthrough, if it did.

Nope.

This, is a petri-dish thumbprint, that might turn out to be penicillin.

That book is a fiction. I saw the post, read it.

What we are dealing with here is more like a SARS with an extreme long 21 day symptom less incubation. Most cases mild reaction, regular flu.

Complication rate looks like it might settle at about 14%. We will see.

Doubling time still 6.5 days (Exponential, not linear growth)

Death rate might be similar to Spanish Flu at about 1/50 people who get the virus. Especially if it is a virus capable of inducing ADE where the second time you are infectid is more deadly than the first, like the Spanish Flu.

The light, at 222 nanometers could save huge numbers of people, especiall if the second time around the world turns out to be more deadly, and hit those with stronger immune systems the hardest. (young people)

From the Indian researchers, it has been altered at 4 S proteins.

That makes sense. The Doc says they have a robot now that goes into surgery rooms with 60 watt light, moves around everywhere for about 90 minutes decontaminating the surgery room.

But that light is dangerous for humans, so they have to clear the room.

This light is extreme narrow band, so it cant penetrate skin, or eye tear water, but, it can penetrate virus because virus is so so tiny.

Baker, here are the two parts of the actual pub med research article I found.

>>8195865 Part 1

>>8195889 Part 2

Also, you can remove the title part about the $1000 lights, and Add

No Harm to Humans. (shorter plus…That is the breakthrough here.)

All the genocide UVC lights are dangerous to humans, but this one can be left on 24-7 very low watt they think.

Wow, bread moving huh.
