massive public anger at magnitude of deception would be directed at ALL career politicians currently in office. The people in power will not disclose anything that would threaten themselves.
Any "disclosure" will be about things that can be blamed mostly on former politicians, so current politicians can look like the good guys(muh for the sake of humanity)
