Ok. Mattis has a quote out that Russia has told him that the Russian Mercinaries in Syria are not under their (Russia's) control. And he says he believes them. I am just wondering if these mercinaries aren't somehow connected to whoever is or was controlling Putin. Whatever the Russian Deep State is.
There was an attack on our troops back in Feb that we believed to have been Russian forces but Russia assured Mattis it was not them. We fired back at whoever it was and squashed them. Now there has not been a resurgence of those mercinaries but we are still apparently losing because they just had to evacuate Eastern Ghouta yesterday due to how bad the fighting is there.
